Expert review of Huawei health bracelet paragraph 6
Huawei’s latest health bracelet, Huawei Band 6, has reached our country’s market and, ironically, is also one of the best choices available. The day smartwatches first came into our lives, we still did not know exactly what their uses could be. In recent years, however, their main use has been to monitor our physical activity, monitor various health factors, including heart rate, and even blood oxygen levels. However, we became familiar with smart wristbands or smart bracelets with these things. Huawei was one of the companies that started its activities in this field from the very beginning with Huawei Band, and now in its sixth generation, we have gone to review the Huawei Band 6. Before we start this study in its entirety, let me say that having a health bracelet or a smartwatch can really be helpful these days. In this review, we also want to see how Huawei Ward 6 can fill the gap of such a gadget. To begin with, let’s start with the design of this smart bracelet, which is not unlike smart watches.
Design and display
If you have seen the Huawei Watch Fit, you are probably very familiar with the look of the Huawei Band 6. As much as the Huawei Watch Fit tries to keep a compact and small watch on hand, the Huawei Strap tries to be a functional smart bracelet that also has a large display. But together, the Huawei Band 6 has a slimmer display than the Huawei Watch Fit to further preserve the nature of its bracelet.
The body of this bracelet is made entirely of plastic, which may not make you feel good at first, but in the end, we should know that we are dealing with an affordable wearable. It is also important that this bracelet is made so that people can wear it at any time of the day and night and use it to monitor important health factors and even the quality of sleep! Therefore, using a higher quality material such as metal, both increases the weight of this bracelet and that not everyone may be comfortable with it.
On the right side of the body of the Huawei Ward 6, there is only a physical button that is used to turn the Huawei Ward on and off and go to the home screen. As for the straps of this wearable gadget, I must say that they are made of soft silicone, which is unlikely to cause skin allergies for people. It also absorbs very little dust and can be easily cleaned.
This strap can be removed from the body, but it is not a simple process at all, and you will probably only remove it when it is damaged for any reason, and you have a new strap that you can replace. Replacing the work strap is relatively difficult, but its material and quality are at a desirable level that is not prone to damage in the long run.
The Huawei Band 6 has a much better display than its predecessor does. This smart bracelet uses a 1.47-inch AMOLED panel with narrow edges. Of course, the entire user interface of the bracelet also has a dark mode, which makes you not notice the black edges of the screen at all. The sharpness of the display of this bracelet is also at a good level, and in general, the colors are very attractive due to being AMOLED. I think one of the reasons this bracelet is superior to similar models is its attractive display.
Monitoring sports activities and heart rate
The Huawei Band 6 can monitor everything basic, such as the number of steps or calories burned, the duration of exercise, heart rate, stress levels, measuring blood oxygen levels (which is a very useful coronary these days) and the quality of sleep. There are a total of 96 different sports modes that this bracelet can measure. The two-week battery life that Huawei has announced is largely correct, and the fast charging of the battery also helps a lot.
Of these 96 different activities that you can monitor with this bracelet, 85 of them are considered as basic activities and 11 activities are among the professional activities. The difference is that, for example, in basic activities, your only activity time is your heart rate and the calories that are burned. As for the heart rate, every time you put the bracelet on your hand and look at it from the side, you will notice that the bracelet is constantly measuring the heart rate. In professional activities such as running, however, more factors are measured and recorded in the Huawei Health app.
Other running items that are considered professional activity for this bracelet include average steps per minute, average speed, stride length, VO2Max rate, and your progress in aerobic activity. Naturally, some of these factors were not accurate in this sample because in order to have complete and comprehensive information, you need to do sports with this bracelet for a month or more, so that according to its algorithms, it can collect more accurate data about your condition. Slowly But BASIC records, such as walking length or heart rate and kilometers, are accurate, which are important factors in obtaining all the extra factors.
In another session, I tried to have a very short walk with this bracelet, which was with a friend of mine who happened to be holding a Xiaomi Mi 4 bracelet. During this activity, the recorded data were close to each other. In the results, the number of steps counted between the Huawei Band 6 and the Xiaomi bracelet was about 20. The average number of steps taken per minute was 101 steps for me and 100 steps for my companion. Each of us had different heart rate data, which is why the amount of calories burned was different, but overall, the Huawei Ward 6 is very accurate in recording activities such as walking and running. The iPhone X Separation that was with us was about 10 to 15 steps away from our records in counting the steps.
Blood oxygen monitoring
An attractive feature of the Huawei Band 6 is that it can also measure the oxygen level of the user’s blood with great accuracy. I say very careful because I compared the information with my brother Garmin watch, and I can say that 99% of the time, I received the same numbers with both watches on my hands.
User interface and its features
The user interface of this bracelet is like Huawei Watch Fit and nothing special can be expected from it. There is the ability to display notifications in this interface, but basically nothing can be done with them or, for example, you can not reply to a message. Is displayed on this bracelet for information only. The watch faces provided for this bracelet are also very limited and there are no additional options other than the few limited options installed on the bracelet; Of course, at least on the Huawei Health app on the iPhone. Android users, too, if they do not see the watch face section on the Huawei Health app, they can use the IP change tools to change their Huawei ID region to a European country to activate the watch face change option for them.
